The children found out about the artist Andy Goldsworthy and how he uses natural materials to create sculptures. They learnt about land art, as a way of creating artwork in the natural world and leaving it for nature to continue to work on over time. The children collected natural resources from the school grounds and used them to create a design on card, thinking about lines and patterns.
